About
Crafted Squad brings 45 years of combined creative experience to every project. Founders Michael and Erin Batts have built their careers alongside brands and organizations like Black & Decker/DeWalt, Savannah College of Art and Design, Gulfstream, JCB, Paula Deen, the City of Savannah and Tractor Supply. Some of our most significant work stays confidential, by agreement and by choice.
In 2026 we founded Crafted Squad LLC in Richmond, Virginia, to apply that same standard to our own work. We design and build iPhone apps and digital interfaces, and we produce graphic design, fine art, illustration and photography. Whether it’s for a client or for us, everything goes through the same process.
Every feature has to earn its place.
We collect as little as possible, and never sell what we do.
When you write to us, a real person who built the thing writes back.
